"Orlando's mission is to create safe space that promotes positivity, individuality and authenticity."

In a constantly changing industry, Orlando Dixon is committed to challenging the status quo. After graduating Berklee College of Music, Orlando began focusing his attention on songwriting and vocal production, achieving credits that include two Top 20 Billboard charting records (Grammy Award-winning Regina Belle’s “Higher,” Top 20 Billboard Gospel Albums; and Chris Walker’s “Everyday Woman,” Top 20 Billboard Urban AC). Simultaneously he began building a fanbase on YouTube, amassing a following of 30K subscribers and 3.5M+ total video views, resulting in being discovered and selected for NBC’s The Voice. As a member of both Team Usher and Team Adam, Orlando finished as semi-finalist, one battle shy of the live play offs. His stint on the show led to work as a background vocalist for Zac Brown Band, Jason Derulo, Regina Belle, K. Michelle, The Late Night with Seth Meyers Show and One Republic.

In his most recent work, Orlando was signed to Disney Music Group as a member of the recording artist group, DCappella; an internationally recognized band with 100M+ combined streams and appearances on various TV & media platforms including American Idol, Office Depot’s Back To School Campaign, The Incredibles 2 Digital Soundtrack, the Disney+ original series “Best in Snow”, and spokesperson for brand partnerships with Citizen Watch AirBnB and Roland. He is also credited as songwriter, arranger and producer for Dcappella’s original song, the holiday single “There’s No Christmas Without You” (Walt Disney Records).

On his own, Orlando continues to put his creative efforts on display, most notably with his independently released music which includes his R&B-afrobeats inspired latest single “Good Vibes”, and the self-written and self-produced project "When Summer Comes”—a Top 25 debut on iTunes R&B chart with over 650K+ streams and counting on Spotify. He has also ventured into the world of entrepreneurship by establishing and trademarking his clothing line #BlackBoyJoy® Apparel, a lifestyle brand aimed at providing street style, athleisure wear with messaging that reflect the Black experience.
